Bei dem Platsil Gel 00 handelt es sich um eine Abänderung von dem Platsil Gel 10. Es ist ein einfach zu mischendes 1A:1B Zweikomponenten-Platinsilikon, das schnell und äußerst zuverlässig aushärtet. Dieses Silikon ist weicher und man benötigt nur sehr wenig Deadener zur Herstellung von gekapselten Prothesen etc. Es kann mit Smith's Prosthetics Deadener oder PlatSil Deadener LV verwendet werden. Pur ist es weich genug für Silikonmasken, Prosthetics, Requisiten uvm. (mit Shorehärte 00).

Die verschiedenen Platsil Gele sind sich in jeder Hinsicht ähnlich, außer in der Shorehärte.

Platsil Gel 00 wird auf der Shore 00-Skala als 00-30 gemessen.  Das Mischverhältnis ist 1:1, 6 Minuten Arbeitszeit und 30 Minuten Entformungszeit. Benutzt man weniger Deadener kann man klebrige, selbstklebende Prosthetics oder Supergele herstellen. Es kann auch mit den anderen Platsil Gel Arten in einem beliebigen Verhältnis kombiniert werden (wobei die jeweiligen A- und B-Werte im richtigen 1:1-Verhältnis gehalten werden müssen), um eine Härte von Platsil Gel zwischen einem Shore A25 und einem superweichen Shore 00-30 zu erzielen.

In 2x 500g= 1kg und 2x 1kg= 2kg erhältlich.
